are useful if a steam locomotive has not enough power or if the shape of such a loco does not allow the installation of a drive. As You know it is not easy to realize a suitable drive for a steam locomotive. Mostly the body structure of a drive disturbs the look of a beautyful steam locomotive. Therefore a motor-driven tender may be a solution.

I present here two examples. It is about the Bavarian 2 "2 T 22 and the Prussian 3 'T 12.

It is easy  to constuct other tenders: the drives are the same, only the wheel base must be  adapted.
