AMZ wheels exhibit a running surface with two different inclinations. Thus the wheels get an optimal ride quality.

The wheel flange relate to the "fine scale" standard i.e. the height is 1.0 mm. Or to th "Suisse" standard i.e.the height ist 1.4 mm.

Thes standards allow  railway systems on Guge Zero  tighter turns as possible on a sclae 1 : 1. For instance the height of a wheel flange on 1 : 43.5 in relation to the model would only be 0.67 mm which is obviously too low.

The AMZspoked wheels are cast in several materials and of course several numbers of spokes. All spoked wheels are equipped with wheel rims of stainless steel. The spoked wheels are isolated either at ther axle or at the rim..

The  AMZ disc wheels are of stainless steel. They are profiled at one side.

The AMZ wheel sets  consist of two wheels and an axle. Some wheels are made of brass like the disc wheels, most wheels are made of plastics equipped with wheel rims of stainless steel.

The height of the wheel flanges is 1.0 mm.

The thickness of all wheels is 4.0 mm.
